Volunteer Projects & Cultural Adventures with non-Christian Organizations:
Immerse yourself in the friendly Indian culture of Asia during your cultural trip to Northwestern India. We will take the opportunity to share our lives and culture while visiting several unique destinations throughout the country. With this cross cultural adventure, we will visit famous Indian sites and volunteer with several projects in the area. Our program is a combination of work and travel so that participants will see the real India

There is little more rewarding and life-changing than volunteering in India as a Christian and sharing your life and building relationships that will last a life-time in a non-traditional setting. Coming alongside and working together with local Indian or minority communities, schools, our volunteer projects in India offer various incredible opportunities for involvement.
Our India Volunteer Projects work with existing schools, ministries and organizations, ensuring that all community involvement is ongoing and sustainable. YQI Volunteer Projects are suited to individuals or groups wishing to volunteer in India on a slightly longer basis (from 1 – 12 weeks or longer). We offer an approach to serving the needs of surrounding communities, to ensure that our programs develop maturity. All volunteers are ‘guided’ through the volunteer experience by committed Volunteering Partner staff.
Although you can not openly evangelize on the non-Christian volunteer opportunities, you can build relationships with the Indian people you are volunteering with and involved in a rich cultural experiance. We call this relational ministry or evangelism, you work hard, show love, adapting and live in such a way they will be drawn to you and ask you, "What is it that makes you different?".
We also have Christian volunteering opportunities for you to work along side some Indian Christians and pastors were you can evangelize openly. These include working with the poor, street children and orphans as well as ministry orphanages.
The focus will be biblical teaching and ministry, helping with outreaches to the orphans and poor on the streets, helping with the ministry's orphanage and several other opportunities. With some teaching, and ministry in the community, orphanage and the church, you will not only provide much need support, but greatly encourge the children and adults alike. With time to see the local sites, experience the Indian culture of this area, their diverse cultures, you will have the experance of a lifetime.
