There is little more rewarding and life-changing than short term Christian volunteers in Zimbabwe. Coming alongside and working together with orphanages, local communities and churches, our volunteering projects in Kenya, South Africa and Zimbabwe offer various incredible opportunities for ministry involvement.
Our short term volunteer projects work with existing, church-based initiatives, ensuring that all ministry and community involvement is ongoing and sustainable. YQI Missionary Projects are suited to individuals or groups wishing to volunteer on a slightly longer basis (2 – 12 weeks). We offer a ‘hand-up’, not a ‘hand-out’ approach to serving the needs of surrounding communities, to ensure that our programs develop maturity and freedom, not dependency. All missionaries are ‘guided’ through the volunteer experience by committed, on-the-ground with our ministry partner staff.

It’s our vision to serve Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Rwanda, Liberia, Cameroon, and many others.

Being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls, as well as Hwange National Park (a game reserve the size of Belgium), it is a haven for travelers, game viewers and adventurers from around the globe. Unfortunately, it is also home to one million orphans (amongst many other issues), and so there is a great need for volunteers to come and assist in various orphanages and school...
How long: 4 week (dates to come) and a 6 week (dates to come) Summer Project.

Minimum age: 18 years (unless prior arrangements are made)
Cost: from USD1585 or USD2295 (the cost of the placement depends on the length of stay for 2012 or 2013)
